“This book gave me tools to think more deeply about my relationships — it helped me shift my patterns around vulnerability, emotional safety, and dating. I kept highlighting lines that felt like truths I’d waited years to hear”.MW, 62, Kitsap WA
When the lamp clicks off at 10pm and the silence in the room feels heavier than the whole day did.
You can have a full life and still carry a private ache that never seems to get touched. Whether you are single, dating, or partnered, this book gives that ache a name and offers a gentle way back to closeness.

Yes, I want The Spark! You nod, smile, clear the plates, and keep the peace. From the outside, your relationship may look steady, kind, and functional. Inside, you want to feel known by the person across from you. You want to feel the full heart of loving and being loved again.
That is why I wrote The Spark You’ve Been Missing.
Yes, I want The Spark! It is the ache of wanting real closeness while living behind the version of you that knows how to keep the peace. Your partner meets the edited version of you. The hunger stays hungry. Once that pattern has a name, a new kind of closeness becomes possible.
Therapy, books, good intentions. Yet you still end up at the same table carrying the same distance.
You may have history and love. The spark simply feels buried under years of careful habits.
The shift can begin in the one place you actually have power: your own presence.
Depth is reachable and meaningful with the Authintimacy Framework.

“The insights and advice in this book were so good and easy to follow. With social media etc today, life can be so superficial as you point out, so it was important in helping me remember to really stretch beyond my norm and connect with people authentically. The advice is good for both beginner communicators and people who consider themselves good at inter-relating! It will be useful for other people looking to deepen their connections!”EE, 36, Seattle WA
“I loved how this book helped me slow down and recognize that I was swiping through dating apps like I was shopping — looking for a dopamine hit, not a connection. The Spark reminded me that authenticity isn’t about oversharing or performance. It’s about presence — in dating, with family, even with colleagues. Now, I’m taking a calmer, more honest approach to every relationship in my life.”BS, 46, Queen Anne WA
“Started yesterday and love listening on my commute -- so good! Authintimacy is where life is at. I’m glad I have been able to see the value for a while now and cool that you made a word to capture it :)”AR, 44, Matthews Beach WA
Authintimacy pairs authenticity with emotional intimacy. Authenticity is the outbreath: bringing something true into the exchange. Emotional intimacy is the inbreath: staying present enough to receive what comes back.
Communication tools help you phrase things clearly. Authintimacy changes what you are actually bringing into the moment. Your partner feels the difference because they are finally meeting someone real.

The one-question shallowness buster
A simple way to open a deeper conversation the same day you read it.

Paul founded School For Love during the pandemic after seeing the toll disconnection was taking on people and their relationships. For 3 decades, he has co-facilitated groups ranging from four to 400 men, helping people become more grounded, emotionally fluent, and capable of deeper connection.
His studies span the traditional and the human: the University of Illinois, Harvard’s Executive Program, Nonviolent Communication, the Wheel of Consent, Human Awareness Institute, Mankind Project, Landmark Education, and the International School of Temple Arts.
That lifetime of learning became the Authintimacy Framework: authenticity on the outbreath, emotional intimacy on the inbreath, and a more honest way to meet the people who matter.
